Birmingham Songsters on Tour

I FINALLY got to meet my mate Dave and his gorgeous wife Audrey! Dave has been a wonderful source of comfort for me and a brilliant friend. I have for the past 2-3 years been tested to human limits bit mentally and spiritually. Dave has been a constant in my life. He has been a support when i have needed it, a step up when im down, an ear when ive needed to talk. A booster of moral, a father telling me off when ive been out of line.... I've phoned Dave in tears when i was tested after the death of my uncle and then when a rather bad situation occured in March that left me feeling listless and very nearly suicidal.

Over the years Dave has made me laugh and helped me cry. He has helped me stay on my spiritual path and bullied me to get out of my jammies and go to church. There have been many a listening ears and those closest to me know of the troubles that have landed on my doorstep. Ray, Troy and all those on SA3 have kept me and Katie upheld in prayer.

Here are some photos of our weekend spent with a group of talented and friendly Salvationists...

They kept audiences mesmerised for hours. Their music and message was uplifting and hopefully ministered to alot of souls who needed a boost in faith!!

Singing in the rain!!!!

Here are pooooooor Birminghman Songsters who had marches through Ayr playing and singing.... waving Timbrels and generally making people smile and wave....

The rains poured and still they stood and sang .... You raise me up... As i stood and listened to them singing, drenched intheir uniform I was reminded of a verse from the Bible ....

Hosea 6:3 (NLT)

Oh, that we might know the Lord!
Let us press on to know Him.
He will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn or the coming of the spring rains
