Its a hard life being a furry stash guard
Its such hard work being a furry stash guard and living with these humans.....
In the morning after the little one has gone out of the door, the big one makes a warm liquid and sits down to sip it.
I look at her and she looks at me.... but shes not as smart as she thinks.... When i talk to her she never understands.
I guard her stash pile.... she tells me its very important and not to put my claws in the glittery bits....
Im not allowed to play with the ribbons either... but i wait until she isnt looking. After i have completed my guard duty, i go to the tub for a drink. I hate bowls of water... so nasty. Once i have had a sip or two of water.... i like to have a little nap. Then its back to my main job of guarding.
After i have completed my split shift, i like to let her rub my chin, it gets quite itchy being all furry.

What a sh*te week
Yep i did swear... yes I meant every bleeeep of it.... and I just NEED to rant!!!!
Yesterday I took Katie to the Maxillo Facial unit in Glasgow. I was told it was ONLY to make a mould of her mouth for splint that was needed to help with her teeth grinding. She was sent for a face Xray and the machine went around her head as she sat still.
When we went back down we found out that her Jaw was sooooooo badly damaged that we are looking at a jaw replacement.... yes you read correctly... REPLACEMENT JAW JOINTS!!!
I HATE JRA with a passion, I hate what it has done to my child, the damage it has caused, the changes that it has made to my gorgeous girls body and the pain it leaves her in daily.
I hate that it has made me this whinging cow who only talks about JRA and the effect its having on my life. I try hard to stay positive but its hard.
It's like a third member of my family.... the naughty child who pokes and prods and constantly wants attention and eventually gets it.... there is no getting away from JRA.... there is NO ignoring bad behaviour. its here its got my full attention and hell there is sod all I can do to change it.
so if anyone reading this has some sanity..... PLEASE give me some... dont hog it all to yourself.

The Frog Princess ATC
Made this ATC for UKS ATC Fairytale swap :) I loved making an opening card and using glossy accents on her crown and on the frog :)

The Stamp is Tilda as the Frog Princess, paper is CherryArtes Bedtime buds... and water colour pencils :)
The story inside reads.....
Once upon a time in a land far away, a beautiful, independent, self-assured princess happened upon a frog as she sat contemplating ecological issues on the shores of an unpolluted pond in a verdant meadow near her castle.
The frog hopped onto her lap and said, "Elegant Lady, I was once a handsome prince, until an evil witch cast a spell upon me. One kiss from you, however, and I will turn back into the dapper young prince that I am, and then, my sweet, we can marry and set up housekeeping in your castle with my mother, where you can prepare my meals, clean my clothes, bear my children, and feel forever grateful doing so.
"That night, as the princess dined sumptuously on a repast of lightly sautéed frog legs seasoned in a wine and onion cream sauce, she chuckled to herself and thought, "I really don't think so."
My latest crafty bits...
Well having been reading the boards on UKScrappers.co.uk I came across a thread for ... toilet roll books. and matchbox advent calendars.....
Here are my takes on the ideas :)
I do offer these for sale in your own colour choices.... The book can be filled with your own photographs and the tags in the centre are for you to write little messages .
Please contact me if you would like to purchase either of these :)

Birmingham Songsters on Tour
Over the years Dave has made me laugh and helped me cry. He has helped me stay on my spiritual path and bullied me to get out of my jammies and go to church. There have been many a listening ears and those closest to me know of the troubles that have landed on my doorstep. Ray, Troy and all those on SA3 have kept me and Katie upheld in prayer.
Here are some photos of our weekend spent with a group of talented and friendly Salvationists...
They kept audiences mesmerised for hours. Their music and message was uplifting and hopefully ministered to alot of souls who needed a boost in faith!!
Singing in the rain!!!!
Here are pooooooor Birminghman Songsters who had marches through Ayr playing and singing.... waving Timbrels and generally making people smile and wave....
The rains poured and still they stood and sang .... You raise me up... As i stood and listened to them singing, drenched intheir uniform I was reminded of a verse from the Bible ....
Hosea 6:3 (NLT)
Oh, that we might know the Lord!
Let us press on to know Him.
He will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn or the coming of the spring rains

One girl and a tomato!
Katie and I had some wonderful news.... we have had an ongoing legal battle with her dad and finally things are starting to work in Katies favour.... she has been under massive amounts for stress for a very very long time....
As a celebration we decided to go out for a meal and then to the cinema....
